How to submit (full paper, case study report, note/TOR)

Please find below the instructions for the submission process. The requirements depend on your selected type of submission. If you do not remember your submission type, you will find it in your acceptance letter. Before you upload your submission, please make sure that you have carefully read ISOCARP's Submission Guidelines and that your submission complies with the indicated requirements.

Note: You may upload your full paper on the platform until 15 September 2021 (10:00 PM UTC). 


Key dates:

1̶6̶ ̶M̶a̶y̶ ̶2̶0̶2̶1 31 May 2021 (10 PM UTC): Deadline for Abstract Submission 

30 June 2021: Notification of Acceptance or Rejection*

31 August 2021 (10 PM UTC): Final date for authors to register and pay in order to be included in the Congress Programme and Proceedings

15 September 2021 (10 PM UTC): Submission of the full contribution (full paper, presentation for case study/project, details of the proposed session)


1. To upload your full submission, please first log in to your account and select "My Abstracts" on your Dashboard.




2. Afterwards, click the "Submission Title" of the abstract whose "Submission Status" is "Accepted". 



3. You will then be redirected to the page where you can upload your full submission. If you indicated "Research Paper" as submission type, you will be asked to upload a "Full paper"; if it is a "Case Study Report", you need to upload either a "Case Study Report" or a "Draft Presentation"; for "Session Proposal" submission type, you need to upload a "Note/Terms of Reference"




4. Once you have uploaded your submission, you should be able to see "View Attachment" confirming that you have successfully uploaded your file. Proceed towards the end of the page and click "Update". You will NOT receive an automated email notification after you have uploaded your file.
