Programme Structure of the 57th ISOCARP World Planning Congress

All the times mentioned in the in-person programme are in the Doha time zone (AST – Arabia Standard Time | UTC+3).

  • One-day focused workshops - location and track-based
    1. Oriented around each track theme
    2. Extensive site visits
    3. Includes case study and research paper presentations from accepted submissions
    4. Hosted in various locations (limited capacity)
  • Technical tours as introduction to Qatar

  • Awards for Excellence presentations
  • Young Planning Professional (YPP) Workshop presentations
  • State of the Profession Keynote by ISOCARP President, Martin Dubbeling
  • Parallel sessions for forums, special sessions, and paper/case study presentations

 

Social programme:

  • Welcome Reception on the first evening (8 November)
  • Dinner reception and social activities  (9 November)
  • Congress/gala dinner on the last evening (11 November)
